The Snowman

"Look, I'm tellin ya it is on the wall by the beach.  Just look for the snowman, but hurry.  It will melt!"

Jimmy, The Nose, Nostra was famous in New England.  Not just because of his nose, but because of the funny hats he wore.  He was known to hide stolen diamonds in his hats of which he had many.  And he wasn't so nice about cutting fellow heisters in on the goods.  He preferred to play games with them.  Make them play hide and seek.

But $14 million dollars worth of "metastable allotrope of carbon where the carbon atoms are arranged in a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice*"is a lot of well, let's just say 'planning.'

Jimmy was a friendly sort.  Always dabbling in the arts.  Sure, he enjoyed heisting them, but what he really loved was creating them.  A playful man who could have his pick of colleges.  The problem was, Jimmy didn't have a long attention span.  He liked designing, then wanted to move to another medium.  He also liked outsmarting people.

Lucky Luciano had just phoned Jimmy.

"So, let me have it straight.  Are we doing poems, limericks, what this time?" Lucky said.

"Check your mail, it in an envelope inside, "Jimmy began.

Lucky couldn't get outside fast enough.  Opening the non-descript envelop he mouthed out loud:

"There was once a man named Joe.
He loved to dabble in snow.
But snow melts fast
You better bust your as*
If you wanna get diamonds
B'fore Matty Simons

I'm giving you one clue
And it ain't in the shoe
The eyes or the nose
The ears or the toes
Think about Matt
Cause it's rhymes with that

And that's all the clues
I'm giving you's.
